Zelda looks to Linora "Rengo is of the age of consent. I know you are his mother, but he has sworn to protect his homeland from threats foreign and Domestic. If Rengo so Chooses After this Mission, General Brann has agreed to summon Release Papers. He is in good hands with you and Rasul. Now go forth, I have some gardening to do" Zelda Says looking back at a guard she was sure was blushing under all that armor.

Linora bit her lip. She was concerned but she knew it wouldn't do much good to argue right now. Normally she wouldn't agree to join a royal mission like this, but this time she felt she had to; for Rengo. She had to make sure no harm would befall him.
"Fine," she said quietly. "That's fine." Then she turned to the mission group members with a slight smirk on her lips. "Very well then gentlemen, where do we begin?"

William put his hand on Linora's shoulder, "I get it. I'm worried too. But we weren't much older than he is now when we went to war, and this isn't going to be nearly as bad as that was. After all, it's just a mission, not a war. But just in case..." he opened the door to the room again, "Grimm? Come inside. I would like you to join the party underneath Captains Kazad and Braon. Your main job will be protecting Private Braon on his first mission." Ari was surprised, "Me? Are you sure, sir?" she was excited, but a little nervous. It wasn't often that the military called in retired officers, especially not ones as well known as those names were. "Aries, there's a reason I chose you to guard my home when I'm at my weakest. You're one of our best and brightest young soldiers these days. I would trust nobody more than you to handle this job. Aries looked down, "Th... thank you sir. I won't let you down." "I know you won't. Now go meet your platoon."

Rengo had been observing it all in silence. He was still a bit baffled by all of this. He was glad to see his mother's suggestion to remove him from the mission be rejected by the queen. And then he learned that the girl from before would be joining them too, but as his guardian of sorts. As if he didn't already have both his mother and father along for the ride...
"Hey I can take care of myself, thank you very much," he said in a somewhat annoyed tone.

"Then you'll make my job easy," Ari replied, "But I'm not turning down a chance to go on a mission like this no matter how safe you may be. So don't go complaining about things you can't change," she could understand his pain. This was probably really embarrassing for him. But she wasn't going to take it easy on him either.

Rengo frowned slightly. "So what's this mission all about anyway?" he asked when he realised he had no clue what the quest entailed.

Rasul stands very sternly " Our mission is to find a cure for a plague originating in the Desert. so the first order of business is to see what the plague is and try to figure out what would be the best possible alchemical solution. we leave as soon as our other member is summoned" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ a guard enters the garden " Lord Emrys, you are needed in the audience chamber"

William walks over to Rasul and shakes his hand, then gives a quick hug to Iris, "Take care of yourselves. I would like for my best friends to survive the week," he gave them a smile then nodded to the queen, "With your permission, my lady, I would request to take leave of this audience."

"The audience chamber? My I haven't been summoned in quite some time. Make sure this gets to that stick girl in the infirmary, please." Emrys passed a vial off to the soldier that came in to make him aware of his summoning. He grabbed a couple of books and threw them into his satchel and then went on his way to the chamber. When he arrived, he wasn't expecting the would be so many others present as well. "Sorry about bursting in. Hope I'm not interrupting something."

I would say get what you need and meet us at the Fountain, but it looks like everyone is pretty much Packed. so I suggest we get a hearty Breakfast then head out. I know a great eatery in town that has the best Bacon and eggs on this Continent"
Tasul's eyes widen "you mean we're going to Peggy's??? oh my gods"

William shakes his head, "It's late, Rasul. While I trust your constitution, not everyone is used to sleep deprivation. I suggest allowing everyone to sleep for a few hours, then meet for breakfast and head out. That way everyone will be at their best when it's time to leave."

William walked over to Ari, "How do you feel?" Ari looked down, a little pained to admit, "Nervous, sir." "As you should," the general replied, "If you're sure of yourself, you're overestimating your own abilities. That's when you're liable to get someone killed. That nervousness you feel is the thing that'll keep you sane out there. Let it fuel you. Consume it. But don't let it consume you. Got it?" Ari nodded, a small smile on her face, "Yes sir." "Perfect," he offered the girl his hand, "My place can go unguarded for tonight. Go home, rest however much you can, and join your team in the morning for breakfast. Good luck out there." The two shook, then turned to leave. The older Will got, the more he found himself giving advice. And he felt like his words would, at least for now, be taken to heart.

"I... I'm terribly sorry but I'm not exactly sure why I'm expected to meet you all for breakfast. Would someone please explain it?" Emrys stammered for a moment, a bit nervous in front of all of these people here. He had seen a couple of them before but only briefly in passing. Emrys really needed to work on that nerve tonic he had thought of a while ago. Every time he attempted to make one, however, it always fermented and created a substance he found out was poisonous in large quantities. It did its job, but excessive drinking of the tonic had led to vomiting, dizziness, impaired speech, coordination issues... if only he could make this without the alcohol.
