Linora hears the knock on the door and opens it. "Oh hi Rasul," she starts when she sees him, sounding quite surprised. "I wasn't expecting to see you today. If I'd known you'd come I would have tidied up a bit. Well, feel free to step inside anyway, if you'd like. What brings you here?"

Rasul enters Linora's house and removes his shoes at the front door "I recieved a Summons to the Castle. But its too late for audiences so i have ti wait until tommorow morning, so I thought I'd come visit my friend, confidant, and the mother of my child." Rasul starts to tidy up the living room as he makes his way to the fold-away Couch Rasul made for these situations. "So how are you doing, Lin? Is there anything you need done around the house?"

"Oh I'm fine," Linora responds. "And no no there's nothing you need to bother with. Just sit down and relax. You ought to be a a bit tired from the trip." Linora sounds a bit distracted as she speaks, as if her mind is elsewhere. She notices it herself though so she changes the topic. "Well I hope Rengo is doing alright. Where's he now? Staying alone in your house or with the Graes?"

"Don't be silly. I thought it was your week to have..." Rasul is hit with the sudden realization. one that he feared more than anything "that boy is in so much trouble. we gotta get to him before he enlists with the Special Forces.. maybe General Brann will assist. looks like I cant quite rest yet. Let's go find our son, Lin" Rasul grabs his boots and puts them on. the paternal fears and anguishes fueling his drive to search for his son

"So you're saying Rengo hasn't been staying with you the past four days?" Linora asked with worry in her voice. "Dammit son... Well you're right. We need to locate him right now." Linora gets dressed too and grabs her things. "So, you think he's signed up for a position in the royal army, or?"

Linora walks with Rasul. "Well if he's in fact at the castle right now we have no way of reaching him. You said yourself the castle isn't accepting visitors this late in the evening," she said while hoping desperately that they'd be wrong about their hunch.

"Yeah I was in the military, but that was in the middle of the civil war," Linora explains. "They didn't have much time to spend on training us back then. But you're right, in these times they ought to start off slower than they did during the war. Come along. This way to Will's place."

Linora knocks on the door to Will's home. While they wait she goes into thought. It had been almost a year since she last saw Will, and even then it was a brief encounter. They'd only met up very rarely since the war ended, but of course always remained friendly. It would be nice seeing his face again. Hopefully he wouldn't mind them intruding.

Will was reading a book when he heard a knock on his door. A glance at the window confirmed that it was far too late for regular visitors. Closing his book, he strode over to the door, over which hung a sword - both for decoration and just in case. Its placement confirmed, he opened the door. To his relief, the visitors were friendly faces. "Didn't expect to see you two at this time of night!" Will was only in his 30s, but constant battle and healing hadn't been kind to his body. Between that, the stress wrinkles from holding the position he did, and his naturally platinum blonde hair, he looked much older than he had any right to, "Come in! I'll get some tea on!"

Will looked into his kettle. He had enough left for two cups. He would have to make more, but there was enough for both guests to have a cup now, "I couldn't just leave him to be forgotten," the mage responded, "Besides, how could anyone turn down a relic like that?" He poured the two cups and returned to the living room, where he placed the cups on the table in front of a pair of high-backed chairs, which he turned his own seat to face, "Please sit down. It's been far too long."
