Mikoto squinted a little at Aiko. She was obviously hiding something. The quick change of tone, the denial of an obvious fact - a denial which she seemed to forget about barely a sentence later. "We'll be fine, thank you," Mikoto told her simply. He turned back towards Asumi, then back down at Aiko again, "Uh... you want to come with us? Seems I'm inviting total strangers along anyways, may as well make it a party."

Sadako kneels I front of the podium overlooking the church pews, sighing and beginning to repent out loud. As she prays to her God, her eyes well up with tears. She’d never felt so wrong, and yet so right in the way she had just a few moments ago. “I don’t know what you want from me! Can I not find love, just as your other children? Can I not even enjoy the company of a man in my innocence? Are you even listening?!” She draws a sharp breath, her lungs tight from screaming and lashing out at a being that none could see. She hangs her head in defeat. “Maybe if I retracted from the faith, you’d listen more...” She sighs. “This is stupid..” She dries her eyes with her sleeve and makes her way up the stairs to the steeple. She climbs out of a window and makes her way to her favorite spot atop the church’s roof, looking down upon the town of Saitama.

"Ah so you guys ARE up to something huh? I suppose I could go, depending on what it is. So, what are you guys up to?" Aiko put a finger to her lips with a curious look on her face as she finished her last sentence

Kamoze wondered if there was more to life than this, but soon realizes he was sitting in a bar, where the girl frm before was probably knee deep in men she probably met on the way back to wherever she dwelled

Mikoto just stared at Aiko, his thoughts processing. She had definitely heard them earlier, hadn't she? He gave a wary glance at Asumi, then shrugged and looked back down at the strange woman, "We aren't stupid," he replied simply. He stared at her, unblinking. He wasn't going to let this woman play mind games with them. He was honestly a little nervous that she was being honest, but he wouldn't let it show. Worse comes to worse he looks like an absolute idiot, and... and that would suck actually. A lot.

Kamoze left the Bar. this was not the time to drink. he stared up at the sky. had his life really led up to this moment. he felt empty inside. Kamoze felt his last chance to mean something lingered in her eyes. he hummed a tune to try to cheer himself up to no avail. without knowing what to do he returned to the Park, only to see the woman in shadow talking with the Kids. She got to them first! he murmured under his alcohol-fuming breath

From her perch on the steeple, Sadako can see everything. The park, those kids next to the wall, along with an extra body, female from the looks of it, the market, children running in the streets and... is that someone in a dog costume? She shakes her head and tries to focus on things other than, well, people in colorful dog costumes. Sadako stands, slowly and carefully, not wanting to fall but to look out over the walls. Nothing. Bare as the day those devils invaded the planet.

"Of course you're not. No one said you were. But if you inviting me to join you on something, don't you think you should let me know what you're up to?" A shrug rolled off of Aiko's shoulders as she continued to question the boy. If he didn't want to answer truthfully, she wouldn't blame him. The truth of his plans was definitely something he could get in trouble for, and the faith was not kind to those who tampered with things they shouldn't. Aiko could only imagine the consequences he'd face should he get caught. She sighed. "Well either way, I'll join in. Just let me know when and where I should meet you all. I might need a drink first."

As Asumi kept observing the conversation between Mikoto and Aiko her view on Aiko started becoming more positive. Mikoto's mission seemed very dangerous based on what he had told her about it. Asumi wanted to go with him because it would save humanity within the barrier if they were successful. The woman in front of them seemed to want the same thing as Asumi, and they would indeed need all the help they could get.

"Well then, if you don't know anything I guess that we should just stop talking," Mikoto responded with a pointed stare, "If you had indeed heard something then you would be able to come, but as it seems that you quite obviously have no idea what we're doing, I think we'll leave it at that. Sorry to worry you ma'am," he picked up his bag and started for the ladder. He hoped that him saying as much would cause the woman to admit something. He was seriously wondering if he was actually insane. Maybe some kind of demon was messing with his thoughts or something, "Come along Asumi."

Asumi turned towards Aiko for a moment, and then back to Mikoto on the ladder. She thought it was a shame he didn't want the woman to come along. To Asumi the woman seemed genuine in wanting to help out. What was weird though was why she wanted to help them. She was a total stranger, so admittedly it did make sense why Mikoto wouldn't want her around. But then again, Asumi herself was almost as much of a stranger to Mikoto as the woman was, and Mikoto didn't seem to have an issue with Asumi, which made her feel special somehow. She didn't dwell for long, nor did she express the feelings that swirled around in her head. After her moment of thinking she nodded her head to Mikoto and started following him down the ladder.

"Suit yourself, kid. And don't go dying. You're a cute one." Aiko winked in his direction before turning around and starting to walk away as well. She started on her way towards the nearest bar, but hadn't gotten too far if that kid had wanted to say anything else. She also noticed the man who was sitting with the nun had come back to the wall for some reason. It was strange.

Kamoze looked the shadow master's direction, but quickly turned back to the wall. he could tell from the woman's disposition she was not one to be messed with, so he bowed out of the way and let her pass despite his desire to see what she knows and if he could better hone his own art.

Mikoto sighed, "The bar just on the north edge of town. Ask for Mikoto. 6pm," he turned around to Asumi, "I have no idea what's going on with that woman."
