Sadako’s smile raultered slightly as she too felt a strong, almost unholy presence. She quickly mutters a prayer under her breath. She looks out towards the barrier, but it seems to still be intact, however she still feels a bit uneasy. Sighing, Sadako looks back to Kamoze and smiles. “So, what’s on the menu?”

Sadako pauses awkwardly and turns her head just in time for Kamoze’s lips to land on her cheek rather than her own lips. “Um, I, uh, I’m pretty hungry, w-we should eat.” Sadako opens up the basket and pulls out a stick of celery and stuffs her mouth with it. “Mmm! So good!” She smiles, her mouth full, giving a thumbs up with her vacant hand.

Aiko felt a sudden wave of heat pass over her but she managed to shrug it off pretty easily. She looked out at the barrier rather intently for a while as she went over possible escape scenarios in her head. Would she just let go of her disguise and fly off? Would she stick around and help against the humans first? They were certainly going to need it, but even if she did help the humans she wasn't sure they would be very positive about a demon helping them. She would probably have to fight them while maintaining her disguise, severely limiting her fighting options mostly down to the sword she was also concealing with her magic. Aiko let out an audible sigh as she started to walk away

"Pleasure," Asumi responded. "So what is the right thing to do today, if you don't mind my asking?" Asumi wasn't sure why but there was something about this guy she found intriguing. She realised she had been asking plenty of questions but ultimately it was just in order to keep the conversation going, and avoid awkward silences. She noticed a couple had started a picknick next to the wall they were on and that the woman who had waved at her earlier had started walking away. These were the only five individuals in the area but it was nice. It wasn't Asumi's regular spot for her lunch break but she liked it nonetheless. It was peaceful and the people here gave off good vibes to Asumi.

Sadako looks down and finishes her stick of celery, pulling a small booklet from her pocket. Her notes on the demon language. Sadako whips out a small golf pencil and makes note of her previous experience of feeling a presence within the barrier. She goes to flip to a new page but accidentally drops the note pad in front of Kamoze.

Kamoze grabs the notebook, and replaces it with a similar notebook full of sketches of women Kamzoe has drawn over the years

"I'm gonna go break into the church," Mikoto announced after a long pause. Giving his new acquaintance a devil's stare, he went for the ladder. Putting one foot on the rung, he turned around, "I guess I should probably explain everything before you turn me in to someone," he sat down again, "I heard some of the politicians mention that the shield is low on power. Something's going wrong. I'm going to see if there's any way to circumvent the beauracracy and just... do something about it. But without knowing what powers the shield, I can't do anything," he sits back, thinking over his words. This was the first time he'd spoken them out loud, and it was just hitting him how monumental an undertaking it was, "I'm not gonna be able to do this alone am I?"

"No I don't think so," Asumi responded bluntly. Mikoto's news seemed harsh and a bit hard to believe too, but if it was actually true, and Mikoto here was the only civilian who knew anything about it, then he would need all the help he could get. Asumi knew she didn't have much to offer if a battle was a break out, but at least if Mikoto would be harmed her medical knowledge would come in handy. Of course this all depends on whether or not the boy's words were truthful. "How did you get this intel from a politician? As far as I know no one else knows about it, so how come you've got this information?"

Sadako looks up at Kamoze. “Hey, wait! Give that back! Please!” She grasps Kamoze’s arm. “Please don’t look, just give it here!”

Kamoze opens the journal and its full of women Kamoze has drawn over the years "Youre quite the artist, Sadako. You should put these on canvas and display them, but i bet youre too young to remember museums"

Sadako tilts her head in confusion. “Wait, I don’t draw.” She grabs the booklet. “This... wow... these are beautiful...” She flips to another page. “Who are these people?” She looks up at Kamoze.

As Aiko was walking away she heard the one younger boy say something rather interesting, considering her current position in this city. He was heading to the church to try and do something about the barrier, huh? Well that sounded like the perfect opportunity to escape when the was either a home in the barrier, or when the kid inevitably fucked it up and brought the whole thing down. If he did that she'd also certainly make sure to reward him somehow. Sure turned back around and went up to the wall, trying to figure out how she would explain her sudden return without raising suspicion from anyone. "Hey you kids. What are you doing up there anyway. Don't they still run schools?"

Kamoze smiles "Past people i picniced with. I mean im always down to have a live model to draw if youre ever interested" Kamoze says with a wink as he gets closer. He hadnt heard much from the kids on the wall making out, but its not like they are going to moan so loud they can hear it across town.
